ABOUT BOTOX® TREATMENTS

Reduces the appearance of lines and wrinkles already formed, by relaxing muscles, restoring a more youthful appearance. Can also be used to prevent premature lines lines from forming in younger people (over 18s only).
Over time the treatment re-educates the muscle so time between treatments will increase.

Untreated areas of the face aren’t affected, so you can still smile and frown, but the skin on the treated areas won’t wrinkle as much as usual.
Botox treatments are non-invasive with virtually no recovery time necessary; you can resume your normal activities immediately after.

Botox treatments are ideal for easing over-active muscle movement that can cause deep frown lines and crows feet.

Botox also re-educates muscles as the Clostridium Botulinum bacteria will induce long-term relaxation of contracted muscles.

Lines and wrinkles are a natural and unstoppable part of the ageing process. While they are inevitable they can be prevented and reduced.

It’s essential that you attend a Registered Clinic and are consulted prior to your treatment by a qualified practitioner so that a tailor made treatment programme can be started.

The results of Botox are not immediate and can take between 5-10 days to come into full effect. Immediately following your treatment you are advised to avoid exercise and hot baths to prevent sweating out the Botox.

We also recommend avoiding massaging or rubbing the area for 24 hours after the treatment has been injected. You will be provided with aftercare instructions after your treatment.

The treatment will generally last around 4 months but continued treatments will increase this time as your muscles are gradually relaxed.

1.  Bunny Lines:Bunny lines, also known as scrunch lines or nasoglabellar lines, are the small wrinkles that appears on either side of the nose when we smile or scrunch our face.  For individuals looking to reduce the presence of the bunny lines and achieve a smoother, more youthful appearance, advance botox treatments offer an effective solution.2.  LIP FLIP/SMOKERS LINES:Advanced botox techniques can help with both lip flip and smokers lines by targeting specific muscles and areas of the face.  Here’s how:Lip Flip: botox can be used to enhance the upper lip by relaxing the muscles around the mouth.  This technique involves injecting small amount of botox in the the muscles responsible for pulling down the upper lip.  By doing this , the muscles relax causing the upper lip to gently roll upward creating a more “flipped” and fuller appearance.Smokers lines: botox can also be used to soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles around the mouth commonly know as smokers lines.  The injunctions are administered in small doses along the upper and lower lips to relax the muscles surrounding them.  This helps to smooth out the creases and lines, resulting in a more youthful and rejuvenated appearance.3.  GUMMY SMILE:A gummy smile refers to when a persons gums are excessively visible when they smile, often due to an overactive upper lip or thinning of the upper lip muscle.  When botox is injected into the upper lip area, it relaxes the muscles responsible for  lifting the upper lip when smiling, thereby reducing the amount of gum showing.  The botox treatment helps created a more balanced and aesthetically pleasing smile by allowing the upper lip to cover the gums more effectively.4.  TURNED DOWN SMILE (DEPRESSOR)Botox can help treat a turned-down smile caused by overactive depressor muscles in the face.  When certain muscles in the lower face , particularly the depressor anguli oris  (DAO) muscle, are hyperactive, they can pull down the corners of the mouth, resulting in a permanent frowning or sad appearance even when the person is not consciously frowning.  Botox can temporarily paralyse the targeted muscles, reducing their ability to contract and create a smoothing effect on the targeted area preventing the exaggerated downturn of the mouth.5.  CHIN DIMPLING:Chin dimples, also known as chin clefts or butt chin, are a small indentation or crease in the middle of the chin.  Botox works by temporarily relaxing the muscles in the treated areas which can help smooth out the appearance of wrinkles or lines.6.  MASSETER MUSCLES (JAWLINE SLIMMING)Botox can be used to help slim the masseter muscle which is responsible for chewing and clenching the jaw.  It works by temporarily relaxing the muscles it is injected into.  It inhibits the release of the acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter responsible for the muscle contractions, thereby reducing the activity of the masseter muscle.  Overtime as the masseter muscle is relaxed it becomes less active and gradually reduces in size.  This reduction leads to a slimmer jawline apprearance.7.  NECK BANDS (NEFERTITI NECK LIFT)Neck bands are caused the the vertical bands of muscles that can become more prominent with age or due to other factors.  Botox can temporarily relax these muscles, which helps to soften the appearance of the bands and create a smoother neck contour.8.  ARMPITS (HYPERHIDROSIS) FOR SWEATING:Botox can be effectively used to treat excessive underarm sweating, a condition known as hyperhidrosis.  It works by temporarily blocking the chemical signals from nerves that stimulate sweat glands.  By preventing the stimulation of the sweat glands, botox helps reduce the amount of sweat produced in the treated area.
